Description:
The specialist portal for pedagogy is the central entry point to educational science specialist information for educators from research and practice.

After a relaunch in 2017, the portal is now structured into the following three areas:
  • Literature:
Services relating to specialist literature are offered, ranging from research in specialist databases to the publication of open access full texts to offers for the supply of international literature.
As usual, literature research in the specialist portal is based on the FIS Education Literature Database. Additional data sets such as current English-language monographs (Library of Congress) and Italian-language publications (Casalini Libri) are integrated into the search and reference space.
  • Research data
The service offers a comprehensive search for data and instruments from educational research, information on research data management and the possibility of providing your own data and instruments for subsequent use.
  • Research information
With topic dossiers, information on young researchers, statistics, institutions, research funding and international aspects of educational research, an overview of current developments is offered.

International specialist literature and journals can be obtained and delivered directly to your workplace via the free specialist information service FID Educational Science and Educational Research. In addition, copyright-free, printed sources can be digitized on request.

The services from the open access server peDOCS are integrated into the literature section of the specialist portal.
